What you require to use ClickTel
• Download our free softphone (www.clicktel.biz/Downloads)

achieving this.
• A dialup or broadband connection to the Internet. The bandwidth you have available will directly affect the quality and number of
concurrent calls you can make.
• Headset (Buy here)
• To make free in-network (PC to PC) calls, both sides of the call must have a softphone.
• To make super inexpensive calls to any of the billions of non-softphone (PSTN) world, you will need ClickTel Minutes.
• To receive calls on your PC from PSTN phones, you need at least one Custom Number

Troubleshooting
If the phone fails to login, please take the time to double check your configuration as above.
If everything appears to be correct, the problem may be your firewall. If you are uncertain as to whether or not it is SIP-enabled, this can be
checked by configuring your PC to use a simple dial-up connection through an analogue modem. By doing this, your PC will be provided a
public IP address and your firewall will not be connected. If you find that your X-Lite phone can now log in, then the problem is to do with your
firewall. (The SIP protocol will not traverse an ordinary NAT-ed firewall.)
